“Andrew Amrhein was most recently the Managing Director of the Program Management Office, Business Relationship Management, and Quality Assurance in the IT Group of Harvard Business School. Prior to HBS Andrew worked at Thermo Fisher Scientific directly for the CIO, where he led a Global PMO across 12 divisions and personally ran programs up to 45 million dollars and over 150 people. At Thermo Andrew was also the overall IT leader for across Europe of a $650M division with 25 sites and ~3,500 users. At the pharmaceutical company Pfizer Andrew was the Director of Global Program Delivery where he also ran transformation programs in the tens of millions of dollars, and won a Global R&D award for a business process reengineering initiative. Andrew has been a speaker multiple times for PMI Mass Bay and PM / BA World, taught Project Management as part of the Leading With Excellence initiative at Harvard, and has authored a PM ISSIG article on project management politics. Andrew has an MBA from New York University (Stern) and loves travel, martial arts, and spending time with his family.”
